Living in a NY apartment building means that we don't control our own heat - it's a building-wide radiator system and shuts off at night - this means it gets quite cold during the middle of the night in the middle of winter. This comforter has become the go-to necessity for keeping warm at night and I can honestly say it does a perfect job of that. It's too early to express any views on durability, stain-resistance, etc., but for a soft, warm comforter, I'd definitely buy this one again (and probably will).
